Matthew Glen Clark

Actor. Singer. Dancer. Goofball.

My name is Matthew Glen Clark, and I'm an Actor, Singer, Dancer, and Goofball from the tiny town of Ellerslie, Maryland. After graduating high school, I attended Frostburg State university for 2 years before traveling down country roads and transferring to West Virginia University. During my 3 years in the mountains I had the honor of being in over 15 productions across all disciplines, including Main Stage Shows, Workshop Productions, Lab Shows, Dance Concerts, Devised Works, Cabarets, and an Opera. In May of 2019 I graduated from WVU with my B.F.A in Musical Theatre, earning the 2019 Outstanding Student Award for the School of Theatre and Dance.

Growing up as an athlete, I bring my physicality and adaptability into every role, frequently playing dynamic, high energy, and show stopping characters. Because of these abilities, I’ve played supporting best friends, zany leading men, nefarious villains and everything else in between. This adaptability and range has led me to develop an extensive assortment of characters on my resume with Regional Theatres in Maryland, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania (and hopefully more to come!)

In my spare time I love reading, bowling (yes it’s a real sport), continuing to learn and grow as an artist, and having random passerby tell me I look like Sean Astin.

After finishing my future contracts (go to upcoming!) I will be relocating to New York City to continue my professional career.

Thank you for visiting, and have an awesome day!
